Over all the purchasing experience was faily easy with this company. I placed my order online Thursday evening (10/2). That same evening I got a call to advise me that the scooter I had ordered and my 2nd choice were no longer available. The salesman was able to get me into a similar scooter. He advised me my card would be manually charged and that I would receive my scooter that Saturday (10/4). Since I never got a shipping confirmation on Friday, I called, was put on hold several times and finally spoke to a young lady who told me everything was good to go and that my scooter will actually ship out on Monday. Finally Monday came and still no shipping confirmation was sent to my email address. I then called again and was advised that their system takes about 48hrs to update and that I would receive my scooter later in the week. Still not satisfied with this answer I waited one more day and finally on Tuesday when I had not received my shipping confirmation I called again. After the run around I finally spoke with another woman who told me my scooter was actually not in stock and they had to ship one out from their other warehouse. She insisted it wold ship Wednesday and that I would either receive my scooter either Thursday or Friday. Wednesday morning came along and I check my email, to my surprise my scooter shipped out Tuesday evening and was out for delivery Wednesday morning (10/8). Since I was at work and the scooter was being delivered to my home I called the delivery service to find out when my scooter was going to be delivered. Their response was that they had no scheduled time and that my scooter could be delivered in the next 30 mins or 5 mins, but that it would not be delivered any later 5pm. Thankfully my roommate was home and signed for the scooter. Needless to say, I believe I received the scooter in a timely manner but their customer service definitely needs some improvement. Now for the sad news. When I got home from work I began picking through the delivery. Everything seemed fine however there were no instructions on how to assemble the rearview mirrors or the battery. After about two hours I was able to get everything put together. I put some gas in the tank and was ready to go. After trying numerous times, the scooter just would not turn over... then the smell of gasoline filled the air. For some reason the gas line attached to the carbourator was leaking. I am no mechanic so I have no idea what is going on. After calling Scooter Depot 3 times with wait time of 10 mins each time, i was finally told that technical support had closed for the day. I woud say at the moment I am not satisfied with this company or it's product. I will be calling first thing tomorrow morning to hopefully get everything squared away. If everything works out for the best I'll let everyone know.
