I made my first purchase for my wedding shoes 2 months ago and received them w/in 4 days so I decided to order my bridesmaids shoes from there. Those shoes took 10 days for me to receive them - according to the shipping log, they were sent to 3 different facilities and I received them 2 days after the date that said I should expect them delivered and there was a shipping cost. The first time, shipping was free and both times they were sent USPS. I will look at other sites when I order in the future.

My order was delivered by USPS, which I was not happy about. Since I was not home at the time of delivery and the box was too large to fit in my mailbox, the box containing my boots [pre-sale value estimated at $250] was left in front of my apartment door. I do not find that to be an acceptable option. It was not the fault of the postman, that is what he was supposed to do in that situation. But I was lucky, because in my apartment complex it is not completely uncommon for deliveries left in front of doors to be stolen. I do not feel that USPS is an acceptable means of delivery for such a company. It is also the only one that I have personally used that didn't use UPS for shipping. The only reason that I checked the "yes" for shopping again with this merchant is because of the huge discount I received on the purchase [about 60%]. If in the future any other .com store has a comparable offer, I will go with them instead of shoemall.com
