Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover

Well I would like to say that Sweetwater.com is one big advertising blown-up picture trying to portray themselves as music123 or musiciansfriend or zzounds (you know one of the bigger online retialers) But in reality they are nothing more than an independent group of guys with next to nothing in their physical inventory. When you place an order, they then place an order to the manufacturer, which not only takes lead time, but you get annoying phone calls from "Brad Every" about how "we do not have this item in stock." This is ridiculous! I have heard my phone ring from "Brad" while I was sleeping at 6 am and then the next day when I was at work at 12 noon about an order I placed on guitar strings. I never answered the phone because it was from an unknown area code (260), but he left a voicemail which I never intend to call back about. I mean free shipping is cool in all, I know this is probably the only place that offers this deal without a minimum purchase, and its attractive to many buyers, but I would much rather buy from people that don't have to hastle me in anyway especially personal phone calls. The way it shoud be done is clear cut...order, email comfirmation, and then front porch. I like to buy from independent and local-style dealers for things I couldn't get from major online retailers, but Sweetwater probably spends a lot on on keeping their site maintained or advertising on google searches to get their name on top of the list, but it simply cannot measure up to the bigger stores it thinks it can. So my suggestion "Brad" is to tone down the website a little and be who you guys really are...you can also save money on the shady airshipped candy that nobody will savor either. Oh and I THINK those positive reviews by "satisfied" sweetwater five star customers are by the employees themselves. Who would really write that much about such a good experience receiving their item in perfect condition...it should be! REAL people will vent disgust in longer length.
