I placed an order for some carpet tiles via their ebay store. When I placed my order the tiles were advertised as peel and stick, and 20 per box. I bought 6 boxes and when I received the tiles they were not peel and stick, and there was only 12 tiles per box.
This seller would not respond to any of my emails requesting a refund, I had to file a claim with paypal....After I filed a claim they finally responded with an address to return the product/s. I mailed the product and they have yet to receive it....I ship a lot as I run my own online store, I've never had a package lost in transit. I decided to google earth the address they gave me, and guess what? The address doesn't show up. So what now? Hopefully the items will get returned to me since the return address doesnt seem to exist, but by the time that happens my paypal claim will expire. I feel this was done to waste time, I'll have to go through the BBB if the item comes back to me, more time wasted....These are tactics bad online retailers use to get unsatisfied customers to give up on a refund. If the item/s don't come back to me this seller ripped me out of $130.
Avoid Taylor Gifts and their other outlets. They use drop shippers and have the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. My advice to anyone burned by this company is to file a complaint with the attorney generals office, this seller is horrible and should not be in business.
UPDATE: Well I got my refund today, took a month to get my money back. Turns out the return address was real, customer service just left out a portion of the address, so it took a while for the post office to find the right address
Today was also the last day of my Paypal claim, kind of worked out just in time. The seller did not refund, oh no, in fact they had the returned item for 2 days...Paypal sent me an email stating that they ruled the claim in my favor due to the tracking info I provided, got back a full refund including the shipping and handling charges.
