I ordered the Marmot jacket on 12/2/04 for Christmas delivery. The jacket had to be shipped from Marmot and they ultimately overnight shipped directly to me. The jacket arrived just in the nick of time on 12/24/04. The internet customer service at Travel Country was far superior than most. They followed up with me (either thru e-mail or phone calls) every step of the way keeping me informed as to the location of the jacket.

I was able to find the merchandise I wanted fairly easily. They confirmed my order and advised that the items would be on back order and advised when the product shipped, which was earlier than they originally specified. My husband and I visit the store regularly and are very happy with our experiences both in the store and online.

The order process was fine and the service was fine. However I was very disappointed in the product. I think it was my misunderstanding of the item. I expected it to be more of a jaket not just a thin piece of fleece. For the price of the thing it should have been able to sing and dance. I'm considering returning it and buying something cheaper some place else.

My shopping experience with you was good. The only problems occurred when my package was shipped to the wrong address. I called your store twice to figure out what to do. The first time I got to speak to someone right away who was helpful. The second time I called I was put on hold for over 15 minutes without ever getting to speak to anyone. I ended up calling UPS to straighten it out myself. I realize that the error in delivery was a problem with UPS and not your store, but it was a hassle to sit on the phone on hold for so long without getting help.

merchandise is taken from show room floor and then shipped. several people had obviously (different color hairs) tried it on previously. mercandise is not "new". it has been in the public "arena" for long enough to be "not new", but still tagged as if new. shipped in plastic, but not in the original manufacturer's plastic with manf.'s label. If you buy something from them, call and ask to see if they have any UNOPENED from manf. before buying. to their benefit, they did refund return shipping costs, thankfully.
