I wrote an e-mail stating that the advertisement sounded as though some tea would be a part of the package. Even a sample tea would've been no surprise but no tea was a big surprise. No response to the e-mail I sent them was very disappointing,.

Will contact the Vitamin Shoppe tomorrow. The Pet's Promise dry cat food package was torn and spilled in the box. It was cushioned between the box and 2 cases (24 14-oz cans) of the Pet Guard canned cat food. The dry good is unusable. Did not have problems with past orders.

They shipped the items they had in stock and emailed me that the other ones were backordered, although there had been no indication on their site when I placed the order that the items were not available. The box was slightly beat up when it arrived -- though this is probably the carrier's fault and not Vitamin Shoppe's. I am awaiting the backordered items. They were new items I had not previously seen on their site.

My order was placed on hold for an unknown reason and I was never contacted by phone or email. It was too long of a delay and I will have to take my business to another merchant that stays on top of things. It is not good customer service to let an order sit for a few weeks without contacting the customer of the problem.

I had a $10.00 off coupon on my catalog that I could use for on-line purchase which I did. The $10.00 off code did not work on-line and I called right away and spoke to someone who said after awhile that it took and I would be charged $10.00 less, but when I rec'd. my shipment, the invoice did not reflect the discount nor did my credit card account. I had to call a second time and spoke to someone else who said he would refund the $10.00 to my credit card account but it would take several days. After a few days, I checked the account and it was refunded. So, this was a little aggravating, but I will continue to shop Vitaminshoppe.com.

I orderd Extra virgin coconut oil, when I opened the box both jars where on their side, some of the oil leaked the box soaked it up, I ordered oil before and last time it was packaged right.

I have used the online option of shopping at Vitamin Shoppe approximately 10 times over 7 years. I only received one item that I did not solicit. I returned it to a local Vitamin Shoppe store with no questions asked when I presented my order contrasted by the invoice. The only reason I returned it was because I already had enough supply of that supplement. I have gone to several Vitamin Shoppe stores in NYC and have found their stores to be clean, well managed, with attentive helpful staff and no lack of inventory.

Order wasn't shipped as promptly as I expected. Also, when I sent merchant an e-mail to NOT to ship a back-ordered item, the merchant's did not answer in time to cancel shipment. On the positive side, when I called merchant on shipping costs, error was corrected immediately.

Vitamin Shoppe has a good selection, however it takes longer than most other stores to receive your merchandise. Perhaps I will enjoy shopping in their retail stores better, assuming they are well stocked.

I ordered the products on August 4th and they did not ship until August 14th. I have not received them and cannot answer all questions. I'm just wondering why it takes over 1 week to get the order ready for shipment.

My husband at first was disappointed because he had ordered the protein powder way back in Jan. and never rec'd that order and was supposed to have a 20% discount w/it. He tried calling them and explaining the situation, but they would not give him the discount w/the phone order that day. He had to wait a couple of months w/out the protein powder to get the 20% discount thru internet shopping. That was rather disconcerting, but we finally rec'd all we ordered this past two weeks and are satisfied now.

I had to perform a search for Folic Acid because my usual brand was now unavailable. This has happened to me several times that my usual brands become unavailable. I still have not found a replacement for the skin suppliments I was taking, but all other cases I found suitable alternatives.
