I am a new fan! Extremely quick delivery -- placed two separate orders, and each one arrived the very next day. Of course, I do live in San Francisco and items were shipped out of San Jose, but I am still impressed and very pleased! One item did arrive with a small defect -- one broken wine glass in the picnic backpack -- but they shipped out a replacement glass right away once I emailed customer service. I will definitely shop at Wrapables again.

I have had two very different experiences with Wrapables.com and it seems the real sinker is how someone pays for their merchandise. The first time I bought from them I did it via Amazon with my debit card. My card was immediately billed, and shipping was lightning fast. I gave them a whole hearted 5/5.

Looking on their website after my initial purchase, I saw a huge Labor Day sale. Because the other experience went so swimmingly, I decided to order more gifts, this time using a check. There was a deep discount on many of the items I planned on buying anyway and I was thrilled. My order took place on labor day, the check cleared 8 days later, and it is now 8 days after that.

My order status is still pending, and there is still a cancel button next to my order on the website. I have school next week and my idea was to get all of Christmas taken care of before I started again. Considering how well the first purchase went, I find this second experience to be a stark contrast and am seriously considering using that little cancel button.

I was a bit disappointed by my shopping experience with Wrapables. First of all, I got an e-mail notification and an answering machine message saying that my order was on hold and that I needed to contact them to finalize the order. As these items were supposed to be gifts for others and as I wanted to get them as soon as possible, I e-mailed Wrapables back and then called them twice with no response from them. The only response I got from them was a "Your order has been shipped" generic e-mail a few days after I had tried to contact them. I still do not know what was wrong with the order, and I did not receive the items in time to give them as gifts. Finally, the child's plate set that I ordered was not sealed, and the child's plate set box was actually filled with the same packing peanuts that the main box was filled with. I thought that this was a bit strange and wondered if the set wasn't brand new.

I was debating buying the spheres from Wrapables, because they were cheaper on the actual Skagen (merchant) website. But a couple days later, they went on sale on Wrapables and were then cheaper than the merchant's website. Plus, I received an unexpected free gift - a cool pen holder with a clock/alarm clock. I ordered several baby shower items (tubby towels, baby bath set) off Wrapables and was very pleased with the on-time delivery and overall product quality. The website is easy to use and graphically, very nice. I have since ordered two home decor items (bookshelves and salt shakers) which arrived on-time and were considerably cheaper than in a local retail store.
