too much of a hassel for credit card users. faxing ID copies are not the same as showing them in store. The intention might be good but the whole thing made the website look like a scam. I wasn't expecting all those trouble. Maybe it is more acceptable if the requirments are CLEARLY listed in the policy, not merely indicate that the website will obtain personal informations at some point.

Site recommended (and hyperlink provided) on Manufacturer's website (www.laserveil.com)...I selected it, and placed my order. Pretty easy, and when there was a problem with the shopping cart's "non-update" after I "submitted" my order, I had to restart; which actually generated a second order. I called and talked to the merchant, and they were most helpful and respectful in their resolution of the issue. Very knowledgeable, too - maybe next time, I'll just phone in the order and skip their online system. I would definitely buy from them again.
