Easy order, quick delivery, very satisfied!

I was very concerned after placing an order for 12-month supply of Frontline Plus for our yellow lab on Monday, Jan. 5th THEN reading the ratings here. My fears went away today when the correct order arrived today, Thursday, Jan.8th. My first experience turned out very well!

Awful -- prescription cat food delivery delayed two weeks and counting. They change shipping policy after the order is placed -- adding $20.00 for ground shiping -- and do not alert customers of delays or even provide a tracking number. I am not surprized at the reviews claiming fraud.

I've been using discountpetdrugs.com for going on 5 years now. I order from them maybe 4 times per year.Never once have I had a problem. I regularly order Pancreved for my dog, as well as glucosamine stuff, and chews and toys.

I ordered a vital prescription medicaton for my dog on October 25th. It did not arrive and I called. I called at least 10 times. Each time I got a different story. I finally got my order on December 11th, 7 days after my dog had run out of her prescription but even then I had to purchase a more expensive prescription (a larger quantity) because they "couldn't get the 4 oz bottle anymore". This was probably the most frustrating and disappointing shopping experience I have ever had online. The service was wretched and I will NEVER use this company again.

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered flea control pills and heart worm medication over a month ago and still don't have it. I called today when I noticed I had been charged twice for the one order. "Joseph", whom I talked to, was very rude, saying "I don't even know who you are" when I asked if he had my order pulled up, even though I had told him my name and zip code which he asked for when I first called. This is my third call to this place. Got a tracking number from the PO which never told me anything! He told me I order the products twice, which I did not! I told him to credit my CC x 2 for these orders and I will NEVER do business with this company again! I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered with them!

I am baffled by the reviews for this retailer. I am completely pleased with the accuracy of my order, the timliness of the delivery, and the fact that my order made it to Alaska in perfect shape. I have a Newfoundland with allergies and skin problems--I need medicated shampoos in gallon containers. It is a real pleasure to find a retailer that carries gallon sized products AND knows how to package them so that they arrive intact!

Plain and simple, I took my script, ordered online, waited almost 2 weeks, never got my order just a load of crap...I know what Im doing next time I'm going to call Dave and have him order he seems to be the only one getting anything from them...(or maybe I should call and ask for Dave, seems like that is more on the mark)

I should have read the prior reviews. I place an order with discountpetdrugs.com and received the wrong product from them. After numerous attempts to contact them via telephone (no one answers their phone), and via email (my emails are returned as undeliverable due to recipients mailbox being full), I am stuck with a product that I can't give to my dog. All I want to do is exchange or return the item, but I can't get in contact with them to find out the return process.

I placed an order on 7/5/08 for an antibiotic my dog needed. They waited until 7/10/08 to contact the vet for an Rx. The vet responded immediately. I called and a company rep said the antibiotic had been shipped on 7/11/08 and would be at my address by 7/15/08. On 7/15/08, I called and asked why I didn't have the antibiotic. They lied and told me that the vet had not responded until 7/15 and that the product had just shipped. I told them they had one chance left to overnight it to me by 7/16/08. It didn't happen. My research led me this site and others with horrible ratings. I contacted American Express to dispute the charge and emailed these skunks to cancel my order.

Discountpetdrugs.com-run away as fast as you can! 2 orders with these folks, both times it took 2 weeks to get the order in. They never respond to email and when you call, you get some guy on a loading dock with no answers. They might be cheap but there service shows what you get in terms of service..NOTHING!!
I paid for 2 day shipping and they sent it 2 day shipping 9 days later!!! I will never do business with these folks again!!! |

Horrible experience Sent prescription but they couldnt figure out dog name owner name. They had to call the vet 4 times. I sent 6 emails and 8 phone calls. Finally after threatening to report them I recvd a response......Then they couldnt get any names or info right.......HORRIBLE I am also out of meds and need them. THINK AGAIN before ordereing here. Customer service is worth the extra buck or two somewhere else!!

They put me in a situation when my dog is out of medicine -took them 5 days to ship and though I paid for 2nd day shipment, they sent it ground. I am canceling my order and have no choice but to pay 3 times as much at my local vet... |

I'm puzzled by the reviews Ive read here. I've been ordering from Discount Pet Drugs every six months for a few years now and have never had any sort of problems. I did have one issue of my own - I ordered Frontline instead of Frontline Plus by mistake the first time I ordered from them; I contacted them by e-mail and they said to just send back the incorrect item and theyd ship the correct one
hassle-free.
The ordering process is as easy as ever on their new(ish?) Web site; my most recent order (Frontline Plus and Interceptor) arrived within a few days; and unlike many of the other inexpensive sources for Frontline, etc., they don't ship the not-so-appropriate-for-America Australian version of the product. I have no explanation for why the other reviewers had such negative experiences, but the reviews at shopping.yahoo.com more accurately reflect my experience with Discount Pet Drugs. Dave |

Do not order from this place!
Placed order a week ago - still hasn't shipped. Luckily, CC has not been charged just yet. Email requesting status was not answered. When I called today to cancel order, was told item shipped yesterday. Fine, asked for shipping info. They should be able to go ahead and give me the tracking information if it had, in fact, already shipped -- all places do this. Was told "they're emailing you shipping info right now." I asked the guy to stay on the line until I received it and he said "fine" and then hung up. When I called back and asked why the guy hung up on me, he denied it was him. I know it was the same guy. He looked up order again (supposedly) and said "it shipped today". Huh? During first conversation he said item shipped yesterday. Definitely shady. I'm disputing with CC company if/when charge goes thru. |

Horrible delivery options, poor customer service. I ordered Rx medication on 10/5, paid for 2-3 day shipping, by 10/9, the order still hadn't shipped out, I upgraded to express shipping, and on 10/11 had to drive across town to the post office to pick up the package, as they wouldn't leave it without a signature. Don't wast your money...find a co that offers Fedex or UPS delivery

Beware. This company commits fraud. I made an on-line order. They deducted money from my credit card, but didn't send the items.
After 2 months, they first claimed (e-mail conversation) that they had sent the goods, then asked if 39.00 was acceptable in postage fee.(Europe). The items ordered were not large nor heavy, so I asked for a refund instead. They have not returned my money, 100 dollars, nor have they sent the goods despite many, many e-mails. I strongly recommend that you place your order somewhere else. |
