The company seems very sound and has a wide range of products in stock, with excellent prices. eBatts.com processed my order quickly and sent both e-mail confirmation of the order and e-mail notification that my order had shipped on the same day that my order was placed on-line! That's the good part.
Here's the rest. Their web site advertises the following: "Free Ground shipping on all web orders to the Continental U.S. weighing less than 200 lbs. Otherwise, standard shipping charges will apply". What customers are NOT told until they receive e-mail notification that their order has shipped is that the order "ships" with USPS Mail Innovations, rather than via a standard carrier.
After several days of waiting and receiving no batteries, when I went back on-line and tried to check the tracking number for my order. Only then did I learn that my parcel had no tracking number--problem #1 with USPSMI. I finally did receive my package: 8 days after ordering!!! So that's problem #2 with USPSMI. I am rather centrally located in TN, and a parcel shipped from anywhere in the US via UPS Ground hardly ever takes more than 4 days to reach me; that's not 4 business days, that's 4 days TOTAL. So USPSMI is very slow and has no tracking numbers.
The company (eBatts.com) itself seems to be on top of their game; but I really don't like their default method of "shipping" through US Postal Service--even though it is provided free.
My recommendations to eBatts.com are: (1) that they clearly state up-front what the method of free shipping entails (i.e., that it is USPSMI and that no tracking number will be available; for those wishing to save money, this option may be fine; (2) that they offer their customers an alternative: a standard carrier's services(either DHL, UPS or FedEx), which will include tracking numbers and will be about twice as fast, even for ground service.

The product was located easily on the merchants web site, but when I phoned customer service with a query, the operator was unable to find the product on their database and said that they did not stock it, even though I was able to find it on their web site myself in about 5 seconds.
After ordering the product online via the web site, it arrived well packaged and exactly on time. The tracking process was excellent.

I have purchased from this website in the past with excellent results, which is why I returned for another camcorder battery purchase. I have found the batteries to be of fine quality. I have never had to contact customer service.
Since shipping was free, it was handled by the US Postal Service. There was no problem, and it was timely as merchandise was received within the timeframe stated. Just be aware that USPS shipping is not able to be tracked as other shippers such as FedEx and UPS. The company does send you an e-mail to notify you when merchandise has left the warehouse, and I found this to be perfectly acceptable.
Good company and I would shop there again in the future.

I bought accessories for my video camera and sent them fed ex to be in time for my vacation. They arrived. The charger didnt seem to be working, I called and the man on the phone said that it doesnt matter that the charger doesnt show any movement or that it has a battery being charged, just leave it. I waited another 13 hours as advised. NOTHING! the charger is either the wrong one OR defective. B/c of this, no video of our 2006 vacation. Kind of dissapponted. I had time when I called but I was advised to just charge it anyway. Not good.
Ont he other hand, when I called for a RA number, the gal was very helpful. (not particularly friendly, but effective)

Every thing went fine, I made no other contacts other the online order. Progress of order was not very informative.
Just shipped and when arrival date, which was on time. I guess that USPS doesn't track packages in regular mail and post them. Good experience, if need be I will use them again.
