I ordered Nintendo WII sports that was advertised with a free Mario & Sonic at The Olympics Games, but never received the free game. Called customer service and they tell that even though it is advertised...there is a fine print that said you have to separately add the free game to the order..which was not really obvious from the advertisement. They refused to send that game and very adamant that it is my fault.

The shopping experience at eToys.com was excellent.  The website layout is easy to understand and navigate through.  I liked how the website is split into different categories, such as: by age, category, etc.  The product prices were the cheapest I've found, and I'm the kind of person that will look around for a while to find the most reasonable prices.  Shipping costs were reasonable and the product was received quickly and packed well.  Thank you eToys.

eToys was truly a treasure to find.  I was looking for a particular Bratz doll that is hard to find and other websites that had the doll in stock was ridiculously over priced, for instance Amazon was seeling the same doll for $124.00.  I found the doll at eToys for  ($24.99) a typical price that is equivalent to that of your local Wal-Mart.

The package was delivered before the estimated shipping time and the product was in it's original packaging, in execellent condition.  Overall, my experience was painless, and I will definitely continue shopping with eToys and I highly recommend eToys to others.

Very pleasant experience.  Etoys gave me a good, quality product for a fair price.  I had trouble finding this toy at other stores, and the prices were outrageous when I finally did find one.  I got emails letting me know about progress and shipping of the item.  I am very pleased with this purchase and have no doubt that I will shop Etoys again.  Thank you very much.

I have bought from eToys multiple times in the past, typically at Christmas time. The shipments have arrived really fast and intact. My mother in law also uses them and has also had a great experience. The one year the shipping was so quick she placed a second order in time for Christmas. I have one child whose birthday is just after Christmas so I always try to get their post Christmas sale too.

The item was received barely in time for Christmas, but with pieces missing. They have since changed the item description on their website to say the items are "not included." Etoys has refused to refund the amount I had to pay for the missing items just to make the toy usable, or to ship the missing pieces. I am still fighting them. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experience ... anywhere. Would NEVER shop here again.

Buyer Beware!!!!

A family relative bought a toy piano for my daughter from eToys. It arrived in such horrible condition that I thought for sure the item would be damaged. The box was crushed, like someone had kicked it or walked on it.

When I opened the box, I found the item to be intact, but the container itself was a mess: water stained, ripped, and covered it dust like it had been sitting in a warehouse for years! This shows a complete lack of customer care from these folks, and I will never order anything from them....ever!

I am completely dissatisfied with this merchant.

spent over $300.00 for my daughter's birthday with this company. Their delivery was very quick, but their packing was the absolute WORST I have ever seen.

I ship daily as a part of my business, and I would never pack a box like this.

They literally thew the 10 items I ordered right into a carton, stuck the postage on and shipped it. So the skateboard was hitting the MP3 player, the cardboard packages were completely squished, and the other electronics has all taken a beating.

I was TICKED! So I emailed their customer service, and got a crappy form letter back. Yah, they really care, right!

I would NOT use them again..shipping was quick, but their lack of attention to important detail like packing, and then their lack of concern with their form letter reply..well, never again!

It's a gamble when you order..their packaging stinks, so if you;'re willing to risk that with breakables or electronics, then give 'em a try! If not, pay a little more and go with a company who cares more about the transaction from start to finish. These guys sure don't!

I have ordered many things from etoys; probably 90% of my Christmas shopping for my kids and my nephews and niece. I had absolutely no problems with anything. The items arrived super fast, shipping was completely free as advertised (I ordered large items too that came via UPS) and am completely happy with everything. I even had to contact customer service about an item that came a little dented and it was replaced promptly.

I just ordered our entire Christmas shopping list from Etoys.com...what could be easier?

A) Ordering ease - A "no brainer". Site is set up well, and breaks down all aspects of your order prior to final submission.

B) Post-order information - An email was received immediately upon order submission detailing the list of items with "hot links" back to the individual item listing. Also, upon shipment, I was supplied a tracking number link for my packages.

C) Out-of-stock items - One of my items became "unavailable" a day after ordering. They had not charged my credit card yet, and updated my proposed total bill.

D) Contents upon receipt - All items were accounted for. There was a small hole in the side of one of the boxes (the shipper's fault...). Contents were very well-packaged, and were unharmed. I was provided a 7-day arrival date span, and the shipment arrived well in advance of when I suspected it would.

I will order from them again in the future. They have earned my business.

Be careful when buying sale priced items. They decide after you purchasing "In Stock" item and opening an account that it was a "pricing error". When placing my order it stated, savings: $210.00 (91%). I thought, "wow, what a smart thing to do, I'll buy a bunch of things since I am saving so much". HA! When calling I acted innocent questioning this product and was told it "IS in stock". I then explained. Nice lady but only third-party answering service. She gave me main number and what a jerk. He tried to say it wasn't in stock and after I argued my point and that I had printed everything out, he put me on hold and then got back and said, "pricing error". I asked what the price would be, he didn't know and offered me a coupon. I said, "will it cover the price of the item". He said, "I can't give you a $200.00 coupon". I got him on that! Lies, lies and more lies and horrible customer service! I'll stick to in-store shopping where a manager would like to help me and the customer is always right!

This is yet another product for hermit crabs aimed at children that does not provide a proper habitat for a land hermit crab. Hermit crab need to be in glass aquariums with temps of 76-84 degrees F and humidity of 75%-84% relative and constant they need enough sand to fully burry themselves inorder to molt and this does not in any way promote proper hermit crab care. Your crabs will soon die if you purchase this product. We are a non profit hermit crab rescue and can help set up n affordable and proper habitat and help you have happy and healthy hermit crabs that will live a long time. My item arrived in a plain box, which I found a little suspect. The item itself seemed fine but the absence of outer packaging didn't inspire much confidence.

They don't seem to send a confirmation email containing a breakdown of your charges -- nor was a breakdown shown on the packing slip. To see an itemized breakdown, you have to go to their site (via a supplied link). So, save your receipt page after ordering.

That said, it is a decent site with a wide selection and tools to help you find something nice for the all the little brats in your life. I'd consider going back to eToys before I'd consider going back to Amazon.

Failed to deliver on promise. I ordered a karaoke machine and paid the extra shipping cost to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Did not arrive until 12/27/2005. Just a TAD after Christmas. The customer service rep told me on 12/23/2005 that even though DHL's tracking system was showing a 12/27/2005 "promise date" on their system, DHL had informed eToys that those packages would indeed be delivered by Christmas. Perhaps they had a communication gap. Perhaps DHL meant Christmas 2006. I will be pushing hard to get the extra shipping fee refunded to me. I will somewhat forgive them if they show some customer focus and refund this without any question. That remains to be seen. Of course, you can't find a phone number for them unless you have their catalog, which I just need to find in the pile of Christmas catalogs.

We order a Christmas present on 12/6. On 12/15 we check to see if it was mailed. It was not. I sent an email that night saying I was worried if it was not sent soon it would not make it before Christmas. No response to that email, but notification that the toy was shipped the next day. Well we ordered and paid for 5 Lego knights. When the present arrived it only contained 1 of the 5 knights. We have now asked Etoys to correct their mistake. But I should not have to send an email reminding them to process and ship an order 9 days after the order was made. And I should not have to check up on them to see if they sent the correct order. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

I will not buy from eToys again and do not recommend the site to anyone else. Their website states the deadline for standard shipping by Christmas was 12/16. I ordered on 12/11. My order wasn't processed until 12/17 and not shipped until the 19th with a 12/27 delivery date (after Christmas)! The Holiday shipping guidelines specifically stated: "If you placed your order by our Holiday Ordering Deadlines, we will work to process your order for arrival on or before December 24th, and if necessary, we will upgrade your order to a faster shipping method at no additional cost." I did not receive upgraded shipping and have attempted to call customer service 3 times. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes each time without be able to talk to an agent, I finally hung up. They have not responded to my email either.

If you like customer service, don't buy from e-toys. The only way to reach them is by e-mail and they don't respond. I have been waiting for over a week for a present, and it still hasn't been processed. The only word I can think of is SCROOGE. A little boy will not get his present.

I placed a order n Dec 7th and Dec 15th my order still has not shipped.Forget about customer service the only way to reach them is through email and they will do nothing for you.I highly recommend finding another toy store to do your shopping with.

I wanted to let you ALL know that if you do not want to wait a MONTH to get your item then do not buy from etoys.com . I made a purchase two weeks ago, had not heard anything, checked the status, STILL HAD NOT SHIPPED! I emailed stating this was a surprise for my son for doing well in school and that I needed it, and if it had not shipped then i would like to cancel the order and buy it elsewhere from somone who actually kept inventory and could provide it in a reasonable time frame. Their response was once order was placed they WOULD NOT CANCEL, if i did not like it once i got it then I could pay to return it and pay to restock it...
