I purchased a Denon DVD player from Etronics, which died about 4 months later. My first problem is that Denon wouldn't honor the warranty because the seller is not authorized, something that was not made clear on their website.
This was not completely Etronics fault, and they stepped up and said that they would repair the unit for me. Sounds good, BUT, over 4 months later the unit was not repaired. They kept asking me to call back in 2 weeks, until finally they said that they couldn't fix it, couldn't get a replacement, and would issue me a store credit for the purchase price.
THEN, when I called back to use the credit, they said, "Did we say full credit? We meant 85% credit."
After dealing with them many times on the phone and browsing their website repeatedly to unload my credit, it's clear that these guys are hacks, not professionals. Their inventory changes rapidly based on whatever they can find cheap to resell, and they don't care about keeping customers. I would buy a can-opener from them, but not anything that might require a service.
Also, be warned that the prices on many items aren't very competitive.
