They suck! Don't go there! I placed an order and chose to pay by money order, then tried to change it to a credit card but couldn't. Then I placed the order and waited 8 weeks and when I emailed them twice about my order they finally told me they didn't have the product. At first they said I could get a full refund and when I said yes, please return my $26, they then informed me that because I paid with a money order they couldn't give me my money back, only store credit. Even though I don't want to order anything from their store. I don't know if this company is run out of someone's garage or what, but they are very unprofessional, unhelpful, and a rip-off.

sooooo wish I had the reviews BEFORE I placed an order. The price was good so I ordered a textbook- IT HAS TAKEN THEM OVER A WEEK TO "PROCESS" MY ORDER!! I needed this item quickly and it hasn't even shipped yet. Unbelievable- I have never ordered from such a slow company in my life! I don't typically write reviews but I think people should be warned before they order.

I've ordered from Tower several times now since December 2008. Shipping was a little slow for some DVDs that I ordered right after Christmas, but subsequent orders arrived much quicker. I haven't had to return anything so I can't comment about their customer service in that regard, but I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. They ship any order of $25 or more for free, and they have THE BEST selection of CDs, hands down. No other vendor can come close to their selection of music.

Do not buy here anymore. Service has gone way down. It took me days to reach customer service. They do not answer emails. They held my shipment to consolidate items. That is ok. What is not ok is that in the interim period, two of the items I ordered became unavailable from Tower – yet they were still holding my order to ship items that would never, ever ship. When I finally reached someone after being on hold for 1.5 hours they said they wanted another 20 days to ship the balance I have bought over $1000 in music from tower in the past two years and that counted for nothing. They offered me nothing and give me lousy service. I am done with them.

I've placed seven orders with Tower.com since the end of December 2008. I had no problems with the first five. The prices were right, and the delivery was reasonably prompt (although their telephone customer service was infernal--I was on hold for at least half an hour, only to get a wishy-washy answer to my question).
With the sixth order, I've begun to share in the frustration of apparently many other Tower.com customers. I ordered two items in mid-February 2009 (one supposedly "In Stock" and the other allegedly "On Sale") and have yet to receive either, although the "On Sale" item putatively shipped two weeks ago. The seventh order I placed despite the nonfulfillment of the sixth. I guess I'll see what happens. All in all, as long as I get my stuff eventually, I'll keep ordering from Tower.com. They do have the best prices, even if it would seem that they only have about one employee manning the whole operation. |

1. A month after receiving emails saying 30 dvd's shipped have not received a single one.
2. Got no reply at all from email to customer service. 3. Upon calling customer service basically was told they have no idea and promised to get back to me. 4. they did not get back to me. 5. Called again and was told they need 11 days from the time of request to find out the shipping status of the order. ????? 6. I give up. I feel like a fool even a basic google search on Tower.com will make it obvious they are incompetent and maybe the single worst internet retailer in North America. Don't make the same mistake the rest of us did and order from someone else. |

Well tower.com sucks so much in my opinion. I ordered an item which was was listed on their site as "in stock" and its still listed as in stock right now. I called their customer service number and had to wait in some sort of que for like 30 minutes. Then i was informed that the item was back-ordered and wouldn't ship out til 10 days later. I initially requested priority shipping and was told on the phone that i couldn't change the shipping, couldn't cancel the order and that I would charged the full purchase price once it ships. They kept insisting that they had made no mistake. I still haven't recieved my item. STEER CLEAR OF TOWER.COM!

Buyer beware...only buy from this site as a last resort. Do your research. If another site has what you want even if they want a few dollars more buy from them and not Tower.com. Tower does not sell overall good quality stuff. Their latest return/damaged

AWFUL product fulfillment. Christmas gift ordered from Tower.com on Dec 4 - now Dec 23 and still have not received it. Tower.com said they shipped it on the 16th. So that would mean it took them nearly two weeks to process the order and then they must have sent it via Pony Express. Sent Tower.com an email about my order and it took them 4 days to respond.

Placed an order on November 24th for Christmas gifts. Received an email the same day stating several of the items had shipped, and several emails over the next two weeks stating the other items had shipped. Apparently they ship the items whenever they want, and it takes 8-15 days after that to receive them. You can not track them. 16 days later, I received a few DVDs. Have not received a single book. I do not expect to receive all of the Christmas gifts I ordered in time, despite placing the order a month in advance. I wish I had read the reviews here prior to doing business with this company.
To date, out of a total of 21 books ordered I have received: 0 Out of a total of 6 DVDs ordered I have received: 5 (16 days after shipping) 4 books have not even shipped yet. |

Had ordered a dvd from Tower as a Christmas gift in November of 07. Since it was only a month away from the holiday I knew there was a possibility the order might take time to fill. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed and the order went on back order. I accepted this and was told to wait 3-6 weeks more. 2008 came and by March I still had not received the order (a good 12 weeks after the initial backorder notice). I check their website to see the status and it mentioned that the order had been canceled (not by me it wasn't). So I contacted Tower for the third time and inquired (by now I had resigned to giving the gift as a birthday present)and they informed me that they canceled the order because their supplier no longer carried the item. I would have appreciated better communication on the part of Tower.com but I guess that can not be expected. My lesson has been learned. No more Tower.com!

Placed two orders in May: 1) Order WEB6128210,was charged for two cds,they sent one wrong title and the other title never shipped. Asked for refund for cd that never shipped,they promised a refund in 72 hrs,also was issued a return authorization and returned wrong title. 2) Order WEB6139062,tried to cancel one title,they sent it anyhow. Again,I got a return authorization to return title I didn`t want. I kept inquiring if they received the two separate authorized returns and when I`d be getting a refund for all three cds. Well,they told me they never received the returned cds and that they weren`t going to refund me for the title that never shipped,then they blocked my emails to them.

I ordered CD's on 12/6/07. My order number: 2262997
Order received today 12/18. However, ignore all shipping notices they send you because they lie. I ordered 5 items. Informed 3 shipped on 12/6, one shipped on 12/7 and one shipped on 12/10. All arrived in the same box, therefore you can not believe thier shipping information. Items were sent via DHL vs USPS as they claimed which was fine but they still claimed that no tracking information was available. Another Lie. Packing was bad. Two CD cases were cracked and one, based on lack of shrink wrap was a used CD. Another one was shrink wrapped but failed to have the end tape (title and barcode) giving the impression that this was also a return/used CD. Something they never informed me of. BUYER BEWARE !! |

As with others, really slow to actually ship the product, books took longer to ship than CD's/DVD's. I would say if you are not in a hurry than you should be OK as the prices are good. However one DVD was sent in the wrong format, I returned it according to instructions. The DVD was sent out 4 weeks ago and Tower still says that it has not been recd. in the warehouse. So I don't know if its sitting in a pile somewhere waiting to be put back in their system or if its lost. The emails they send are not real clear.
This is to inform you that we will contact you about a refund once we have received and processed your returned item. One of several vague emails Because all items are subject to review, returns can take: - Up to 60 business days to be processed during the normal year - Up to 90 business days to be processed during holidays We apologize for the delay. I just want to know if they recd. it. Is that too much to ask?? |

It took them 8 days to ship my CD (sounds like I was relatively lucky). Is there only one person working there? I chose Tower because it had the best price. I found the item I wanted through google product search and purchased it through google checkout, so Tower didn't have to do anything beside ship it in a timely manner. Avoid these jokers if possible.

I ordered several items from this site on 4 August 2007. All of the items were listed as being in stock and my credit card was charged immediately for the full order. The order status on the site has continued to say that the items are in stock and being prepared for shipment, but I am still waiting to receive anything. After waiting a month I emailed them to inquire into the status of this. After about a week I received a reply saying that they were waiting to receive the items for their warehouse. Today, more than 7 weeks after placing the order I decided to cancel it and I will wait to see if I get a refund or not.
