The N4000e External Print Server from Lexmark™ is designed to connect your non-network-ready printer to most network environments. It enables you to connect your printer to an Ethernet network using a USB 1.1 or 2.0 full speed compliant USB port and to a 10/100BaseTX Ethernet with its RJ-45 connector. Featuring an easy to upgrade firmware, the N4000e supports 100 Mb fast Ethernet networks and 10 Mb networks, with auto-speed negotiation capabilities to determine your network speed without manual intervention. Furthermore, it is compatible with a number of network protocols and network printing methods. With support for AutoIP, DDNS and mDNS protocols, the Zero Configuration Compliant N4000e can be automatically configured and printers can be automatically discovered without user intervention.
