Beats my old Explorer hands down!

Pros: Comfortable ride, lots of room, car-like handling, nice sound system. Honda reliability.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Great crossover mid-size SUV with the room of many large SUVs. Great for soccer moms or large families that like to hit the road.

This vehicle is large by midsize SUV standards. It seats 8 people although I would only subject a child or short adult to the third row seats. We have had this vehicle about 5 months now-no problems whatsoever. No recalls, no nuisances...

Very pleased so far...

Pros: Interior roominess, great quality, handling, acceleration, maneuverability, engineering
Cons: Removal of third-seat headrests to fold seat, rear hatch glass does not open independently.
The Bottom Line: Definitely consider the Pilot - it's not truck-based, but it makes up for it with great engineering, features, handling, capabilities, and resale value. Nice ride!

Review: Just purchased my Pilot EX in late Nov, 2004. This is my third Honda, and it is by far the best. I've had '92 and '99 Accord 4-doors (4-cyl, 5-spds). Both were great cars, and it's hard to directly compare, but the Pilot feels so solid - not a buzz...
