AT&T 964 is a four-line intercom speakerphone with Caller ID, call waiting features and digital answering system. It is a full-featured telephone system, expandable into up to 12 station. Each 964 has its own private answering system with 25 minutes digital recording time. Hands-free duplex speakerphone minimizes "clipping" allowing you to speak and listen without using the handset. This telephone has 200 name/number Caller ID history.

A feature-rich 4-line phone that will do just about everything

The Bottom Line: I gave this phone 4 stars because it certainly is "above average," but the few problem features keep it from being truly "excellent." (The answering machine earns 1 star.)
Review: I almost pulled my hair out shopping for 4-line phones. Most electronics stores didn't have much of a selection of 4-line phones until fairly recently since this is not an item that the average shopper needs.

The Bottom Line: If you want Centrex features without a centrex price, this is a very good option!

Multi line phone that can only do one thing at a time

The Bottom Line: If what you want is a true multi-line phone, or a phone with a decent sounding answering system, do not buy this one.
Review: First, the minor problems. The answering system has an incredible amount of static. Also, when you go to dial, there is a second or two delay before the first digit goes through. Sounds like no big deal, but when this happens every time you go to...
