Pros: Solid shooting action; immersive atmosphere; incredible graphics
Cons: Gameplay doesn't evolve from its 1994 roots; repetitive level design; the Flashlight gimmick sucks
The Bottom Line: For better or worse, Doom 3 is a worthy addition to any gamer's library. It does a good job delivering plenty of spine-tingling chills in a nightmarish environment.
