Alpine's 2002 Type-R speakers feature a new high excursion motor design with an extra large woofer magnet and vented pole piece for deep bass performance with long throw. All Type-R component and coaxial speakers feature one-inch tweeters that swivel 15°, 12dB crossover with tweeter protection, aluminum-coated poly cones, and extra-large rubber surrounds, which minimize resonance problems and dramatically increase low bass.

Review: alpine is one of the best marketed product out there. I have 2 alpine 6 1/2 in 120w in my fort doors and i also have another pair of them at 200w in my rear windows. I have to R type alpines in my truck also.. I drive a Acura legand. my car sounds...
