This high resolution 1st Gen.+ night vision unit comes with 1x magnification, but has the option of being 4x or 8x. Surprisingly, even though we gave the Viper a heavy coated glass lens, we were still able to keep its weight down to only nine ounces. So for any activity you plan on doing which requires night vision and hands free operation, the Viper delivers superior results.

Better to spend a little more and get a good one.

Review: Bought one of these and alright at close range but no good at further than 15 yards. Then when it stopped working a while still under warranty they refused to honour it.
Stay right away for this company and their products.

Review: I have had a month or so to test this so I could give a review. This little item is remarkable. Clarity is superb. Under normal night time conditions of no moon to full moon I am able to see 75 yards easily. The illuminator is not worth having(...
