Product Description

 
The W6222 washer cleans better than virtually every washing machine on the planet and does so while using less electricity, less water, and less detergent. Unique features include: ultra-gentle hand-wash and wool-wash programs; the Aqua Block leak protection system; and a better rinse cycle to prevent the skin irritation caused by detergent residues commonly left by other washers. The W6222 uses a new electronic control with SmoothDial™ technology. Indicator lights around the controls identify cycle and options selected, while the wash cycles are printed on the control panel and the remaining cycle time is displayed in an LED window. This model is available in white or titanium.

Great European compact washer

The Bottom Line: After 3 months of use, I love this washer. The retail price is high, and cycles long, but my clothes are cleaner than ever, without chlorine bleach.
Review: First of all, the Asko W6222 is a front load washer, and not a top load washer like the description states.

Second, this is the successor of the W6221 and has been out for less than 2 years, so the other review is not for this washer.

Can't plug W6222 into normal US 110 V plug

Review: Due to no information neither from the side of the seller nor from the side of the Asko company I bought this washer only to realize that I can't plug it into a normal US 110V plug (the machine requires european 220V).

The Bottom Line: You should not buy an Asko due to their poor reliability and their equally poor customer service.
Review: Asko has a slogan, built to last longer . While the machine might indeed be built to last, it is NOT built to WORK for any extended length of time. If you are thinking about buying ASKO, then consider this. I don't write reviews very often, I loved...
