This is a very entertaining story featuring Thomas the Tank Engine. It is all about how Thomas is feeling neglected because no one has mentioned that it is his birthday and he still has to work hard on the rail lines all day. At the end of the day, he realizes that his friends were busy all day planning a big surprise party for him. It is a fun story with colorful illustrations and preschoolers will love all the fuss made over Thomas' birthday Pros: colorful illustrations, fun characters, entertaining story and theme
