Your sound system will only sound as good as the last “link” in the system chain—and that’s the speakers! Boss designed the Exxtreme Series with just this in mind. The BOSBLX12C features a special coated Kevlar and paper cone that is light enough to handle the toughest bass transitions, but strong enough to maintain the lowest of the low notes. Paper is a very strong but neutral material that is perfect for “extreme” subwoofers. This subwoofer also features a butyl rubber surround for linear stability and strength and a 3” dual Kapton voice coil for the ultimate in effeminacy and power handling. These woofers are optimized for small sealed enclosures.
