Excellent toy, but you can shave for less.

The Bottom Line: Very impressive as a gift; if all need is just a close shave, look elsewhere.
Review: I already have Braun 6520 shaver, which I'm happy with, and which has very good feedback here on Epinions if you check it out; now I've got the latest model, 8595 Activator as a present. So naturally, I compared them.

Not a Close Shave

The Bottom Line: Despite a good cleaning system, this razor just doesn't cut it ... literally. The shave I get is barely passable, and a lot of trouble for the end result.
Review: I waited a couple of years to get this shaver. I've been shaving for 30 years. To me, it looked like the perfect blend of form and function, at least as far as shaving is concerned.
