The 2006-2007 season in the Cachapoal Valley was colder than expected butwith the usual level of rainfall during the winter Spring temperatures wereaverage and budding occurred early in the season There was a frost thataffected the central part of the country on October the 10th, causing somedamage to our Sauvignon Blanc in Requinoa Therefore we had no need todo a green harvest as Nature did it for us We also had an earlier floweringin November, but the season was very dry, allowing for perfect maturationwithout any rain We started picking during the second week of March, andas always employed a strict selection, harvesting block by block only fruit atthe maturity we wanted The results were very promising with beautifullyexpres sive fruit and bright acidityColor is bright and attractive light yellow with hints of straw and green Nose has expressive fresh citrus fruit on entry, followed by sweet hints ofwhite flowers and delicate notes of lychee and fig Palate is young and pleasant, with fresh acidity followed

Color: Pale and clear light yellow with subtle lime hints.Nose: White nectarine, pear and white flowers dominate also citrus fruit and tangerine. Fresh herbs and mineral notes at the back.Palate: Light body with fresh acidity at the beginning followed by a round and concentrated mid palate. Long and fresh finish.Food pairing: The ideal companion for appetizers and sea food in general. Open and serve well chilled.
