The Casio Atomic Powered watches receive a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado. Signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. See manual for an explanation of ideal conditions for setting as well as factors or locations that can create and make reception difficult.

A watch with a recessed crystal that won't get scratched

The Bottom Line: After five weeks, placing the watch near a window for updating, exposing to light for recharging and worry about expensive battery replacement, I returned the watch, downgraded my recommendation.
Review: 10/15/07 Update. After using this watch for five weeks, I decided to return it. I believe that Casio has turned this watch into another "Rube Goldberg". Isn't 20 seconds per month accuracy enough? For those who think they need accuracy +/- 1 second...

great replacement g-shock

The Bottom Line: i love g-shocks. they are tough and can last a lifetime. this one is solar powered (no need to change battery) and is "atomic" meaning extremely accurate time
