Network control extends from the backbone to the edge with intelligent Layer 3 services such as granular QoS (Quality of Service) Internet security and network management.Due to the modular architecture the Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series provides scalability flexibility and investment protection providing a pay as you grow model resulting in a reduction of operational expenses and capital expenditures.
