Do you have a camcorder? You can also connect your camcorder directly to the DVD recorder’s DV connector, IEEE 1394, and put your home movies onto DVD discs to share with family and friends.

Junk in my opinion

The Bottom Line: Spend the extra money for a better brand.
Review: This will be a very short review as my experience with a WORKING Cyberhome 1600 is very limited. I purchased one in May '05 at my neighborhood Best Buy.

I tried to transfer footage from my DV Camcorder, but ran into problems right away...

A bargain for people with know-how

The Bottom Line: I cannot recommend this product for anyone. It's too frustrating and troublesome. The Citizen C801DVR is the same price, offers the same features, but is clearly a superior product.
