An essential companion for the books

Pros: The guide's good for reference or for reading on its own
Cons: I would've liked to see more maps and pics of the Holds ^_^;;
The Bottom Line: Anyone who loves Pern will want this book, although newcomers should beware of major (but necessary) spoilers.

When I get around to doing a guide to Hyria, this book is definitely going to be an inspiration for the format!...

Pros: Massive amount of information about Pern
Cons: Illustrations could have been a lot better
