Is it really FarCry 2 ?

The Bottom Line: FarCry 2 is not the revelation the original game was. It does have the same graphical splendor, but sadly gameplay didn't evolve and in some ways even degraded

Not your typical African Safari!

The Bottom Line: During the battles its a five star shooter.  The character-interactions rate four stars, the pacing only gets two.  I'm giving it a bonus star for being highly ambitious.

Far Cry 2, close but no cigar.

The Bottom Line: It's just not quite what it should be. The story was weak, the ending has no resolution.  I can't recommend this game.
Review: Remember Far Cry for the PC?  Well Far Cry 2 is a Far Cry from it.  It has nothing to do with the original characters, story line or location.
