This slow cooker comes with a lid that clamps shut so you can tak eit with you and there will be no spills. there is a place on the lid fo ra spoon to help serve. This makes it easy to take with you. But this is a great slow cooker at home as it has 4 settings, high, low, warm, and off. The crock comes out for easy cleaning in the dishwasher Pros: works great
