The HP Surestore Bridge FC 2/1 LV makes it possible to share HP Surestore tape libraries and HP Surestore Magneto-Optical jukeboxes among multiple servers in a heterogeneous environment. This bridge takes up only one EIA rack space and has increased memory for faster data transfers between Fiber Channel Storage Area Networks (FC SANs) and SCSI devices. The bridge has a single Gigabit Fiber Channel port to connect point-to-point, arbitrated loop or switched fabric topologies.
