The 91x53mm signing area operated with a resolution of 300 dpi in absolute mode (pen input) or 150 dpi in relative mode (mouse pointing), so that it can easily be implemented into notebooks. The signatures remain valid only while the contents (at the time of signing) are intact, since any alteration to the documents after signature will trigger a warning rd check alongside the signature.
