What a difference.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this TV for anyone shopping for a flat panel. Don't go LCD - go with plasma, and this plasma.
Review: I bought this TV as a replacement for an LCD that I still have. I made the jump into flat panels with LCD and I was happy...at first. Until I started noticing problems with my eyesight. Things would get blurry, I would get headaches, even nauseous...

Wow, what a beautiful pictureAfter months of deliberation and comparison I choose the LG plasma HDTV based on their reputation in the electronics field. This is a beautiful piece of furniture although some may not like the glossy black frame but I do. Connected to satellite HDTV service the picture is breathtaking. It was very easy to set up and weighs about 55 pounds so it is easy to move around too. The speakers produce a remarkably good sound with a rich vibrant base although I do have mine connected to a Sony home theater system. An up-converting DVD player does make a big difference when playing movies, use an HDMI cable rather than component. I found that using HDMI cables is best, at least for me, and believe me the cheap cables work just as well as the expensive ones so save yourself some money. I have had this set for almost two months and hate to admit that I watch more outdoor and nature shows like HDNET, Equator and Discovery channels than sports now.Pros: unbelievable picture; beautiful piece of furniture; two year warranty; surprisingly good native speaker sound; easy to set up; plenty of connection options; large easy to read and well laid out remote control so you can make all needed picture adjustments from your chair.cons: haven't found any yet other than this is making a couch potato out of me. Fortunately I live alone so I can kick back and watch all I want. Pros: Price, Picture, Sound Cons: not 1080p, No bluray included
