Product Description

 
The 626 heads for the sunset as Mazda prepares a replacement for a late-2002 introduction as a 2003 model called the Mazda6. This lame-duck line of compact sedans comes in base LX trim with 4-cyl or V6 power, or as the uplevel ES model with V6. All are available with manual transmission or optional automatic. V6 models have standard 4-wheel disc brakes. ABS and front-side airbags are grouped into a single option. On the ES, that package includes traction control, which is unavailable on LXs. For 02.

The Bottom Line: I would give the 626 an above rating but I think it needs to many refinements. Maybe for 2003 Mazda will surprise us with a redesigned 626.

The Bottom Line: Good price, great options, great resale value.
Review: I had been looking for a automatic car to replace my 02 Hyundai Elantra, and after 3 weeks of looking I found what is now my 02 Mazda 626. Silver in color, and only 9,300 miles on it. I bought it for a price of $13,000, which to me was a steal!
