Product Description

 
new LX-SV with 15-inch steel wheels, LX with 16-inch alloy wheels, and top-shelf ES with 17-inch alloys. All have a 200-hp 3.0-liter V6 and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The V6 is based on a design from Ford, Mazdas parent company. ABS is standard. Front side airbags and traction control are optional on LX and standard on ES. MPVs seat seven and have 2nd-row bucket seats that slide together to create a 2-passenger bench. Their 3-place 3rd-row bench folds into the floor. Dual sliding side doors are standard and have windows that roll down. Power operation for the side doors was offered only on the ES last year, where it was standard; for 03, its optional on both the ES and LX.

My search for zoom zoom in a minivan continues

The Bottom Line: For most people the Honda Odyssey will be worth the extra money. For those wanting a shorter van, the Pontiac could be a better choice.

You need a versatile minivan for 3 car seats!

The Bottom Line: I love the 2003 MPV. It has flexible seating arrangements, great engine response, excellent reliability. Most bang for the buck in the minivan market!
Review: Two weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant with my 3rd child. My other kids are both in car seats. We wanted a small Minivan that would easily fit 3 car seats, a booster, regular and infant seat. The Mazda MPV was our answer.

The Bottom Line: Highly recommend. Excellent handling, braking and acceleration for a minivan. Perfect vehicle for a family of four.
