This cable meets the HDMI 1.3a specification. In addition to an astonishingly-high capacity of 10.2 Gbps bandwidth (far in excess of the throughput needed for 1080p video), HDMI 1.3a supports 48-bit (RGB or xvYCC) color depth, as opposed to the previous generations' specified 24-bit depth capacity. Over one billion colors can be displayed with such capacity, trademarked as Deep Color.

A complete SCAM

The Bottom Line: This is a known scam in the AV industry. It works on the folks buying their 1st HD TV who have no education. Be smarter than those people!
Review: HDMI cables send signals digitally. They either work or they don't. This is nothing like analogue audio signals which can be effected by wire types.
Monster Cable knew this and must have been horrified at the idea that anyone who did some...
