Polk Audio MMC690 Coaxial Car Speaker

The Polk/MOMO MMC690 6"x9" 3-way speaker features a lacquered carbon-fiber woofer that provides the ideal balance of low weight and high rigidity. The woofer's Kapton voice coil former and flat Nomex spider contribute to high power handling capability. An airtight rubber surround stands up to humidity and heat for long-term reliability. The smooth-sounding 1-1/4" silk/polymer dome tweeter and 3/4" silk supertweeter combine for highly detailed imaging. The vented cast-aluminum basket provides a totally non-resonant platform, so speaker output is uncolored. A high-quality outboard 2-way crossover ensures that each driver sees only the frequencies it was designed to reproduce. Dual nickel-plated terminals are provided for amplifying the woofer and tweeters separately. The speaker's low-profile and shallow depth allow easy installation in most vehicles. Rugged ABS grilles designed by MOMO are included.
