Product Description

 
It's been only 16 years since the earth was destroyed by a huge meteor, and a city has been reborn despite the disaster. In this new civilization, two newcomers arrive at Graviton High School, A-ko and her bumbling pal C-ko. Although A-ko seems like an average teenage girl, she actually has superhuman powers. The two friends find trouble when B-ko, a spoiled rich kid whose father is a tycoon, decides she wants C-ko to be her buddy instead of A-ko's. As a result, A-ko and B-ko square off, beginning a rivalry that pits A-ko's powers against B-ko's mega-powered fighting robots of doom.

What exactly am I missing? I KNOW I must be missing SOMETHING.

The Bottom Line: I'm always loathe to pan any anime feature, since the hobby gets bad enough press already. But this is just not an impressive feature. Rent it if you must.
Review: "Project A-ko" has long been on my "must watch when I get a chance" list, thanks to glowing reviews from coworkers and friends, so when it finally reached the top of my Netflix queue, I popped it in the DVD player and watched it immediately...

Akagiyama Missile!

The Bottom Line: One of older anime around, Project A-ko is still a great watch. Usually people either love it or hate it, so you might want to rent it before you buy.
Review: Project A-ko is a sorta strange anime. You might want to read the back of the box first before you watch; it will help you to understand a bit of the plot better. (The plot can sometimes get confusing).
