Product Description

 
The high-performance Viggen model is available in all three body styles and has 230 hp. SEs offer 5-speed manual transmission or optional automatic. Viggens come only with manual. The convertible has a power top with a heated glass window. Antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and front side airbags, are standard, as are front head restraints designed to minimize whiplash injury. General Motors owns this Swedish automaker, and GMs OnStar assistance system is standard. It includes voice-activated phone, e-mail, and Internet connection

A nice car, wrought with problems

The Bottom Line: Based on my experience with this Saab, I would not purchase another one.
Review: I have been the sole owner and primary driver of this car since I bought it brand new. I purchased the SE version as it came fully loaded. It is now just reaching the 100k mark, almost 80% highway driving. Other cars I have owned/own include a BMW...

The Bottom Line: Would absolutely buy this again (or maybe the convertible). Such a pleasure to drive (and gaze at!) that you forget about the little headaches of ownership.

The Bottom Line: Buy this car is you can find it! Recommend 5-door over convertible (you will love the easy access to the back seating area and better handling).
