The combination of three large ceramic magnets, hot coils and twelve black oxide cap screws give this awesome pickup bolts of volts for an electrifying force of energy. The wide magnetic field pumps power into your amp with unique brightness and a totally new sound.

The mightly Seymour Duncan Invader

The Bottom Line: If you are inclined to play mostly with distortion and high volume, this pickup is not a bad choice.
Review: Without going to an active pickup, Seymour Duncan offers a passive pickup with a very powerful humbucking pickup with massive bass and midrange tones.

Being about $20 dollars cheaper than an EMG 81, at $79.95, the Invader is a decent...

The Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup is a vicious, high output bridge pickup perfect for punk, hard rock, and metal. Rich harmonics fly out when put through a dirty setup and the hex pole pieces just look awesome.
