Is Sony's New E-Book Reader a Breakthrough? Or Is It Tomorrow's White Elephant???

The Bottom Line: E-books are a bad idea. Wasting $300 on this gadget and hundreds more on non-portable, non-reusable, non-useful DRM-burdened files is a WORSE idea.
Review: When I was growing up, my daddy always used to tell me, "If at first you don't succeed, maybe it's because you're meant to fail."

Sony could stand to learn that lesson. They've gone down the e-book path before. And they've failed before...

The Bottom Line: If you love reading and want a powerful/portable solution to carry a huge library around with you, this is for you. Too expensive at $350...but at $180 I'm sold.
