Green rubber armor. Our finest analog compass binocular. Fully mil spec. Waterproof and shockproof to 20g. Tested not to fog or leak in a temperature range of -40 to +180 Fahrenheit. Comes equipped with CAT coated optics for brightest possible images in low light and maximum contrast in bright sunlit conditions.

Best you can buy for specific uses.

The Bottom Line: There are cheaper and more expensive units, but this is by far the best value for the money. There's a reason it's been "the standard" for so long.

Great optics, not so great compass

The Bottom Line: If given a choice between the Marine/Military with or without compass I d definitely take the one without, even if cost were no object.
Review: I?ve worked with the Steiner Commander 3 for a while for a job I once had and must say that these are great Binoculars. In writing a review of the Tasco version, I went back to the local camera shop to take a good look at them again.
