The focal length of this lens is equivalent to approx. 27-405mm in 35mm format. Designed as an "all-in-one" lens, it will meet almost all photographic opportunities without changing lenses.

Great zoom range, sticky zoom

Pros: Wide zoom range
Compact size and light
Good picture quality
Vibration reduction
Nice design

Cons: Zoom adjustment not smooth
Handling
Slow autofocus

The Bottom Line:

I recommend to buy this product in a few months, as I'm assuming that Tamron engineers will further improve the product soon.
