The Bottom Line: Another step toward converting ALL of your music into tracks you can store on your iPod or other portable music player.
Review: I saw the ad for it in a catalogue sent out by a company called firstSTREET: a machine that burns CDs from your old vinyl records. It looked too good to be true.

The easy way to record your old vinyl

The Bottom Line: A good middle-of-the-road audio component that's easy to operate and easy to live with.
Review: It's no particular trick for a computer geek who started out as an audio geek to record old LPs and 45s to CD. But the vast majority of us aren't geeks of either variety, which is why there ought to be a tremendous market for the Teac GF-350.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this for all of you who have vinyl sitting in your basement. I've surprised people by emailing them songs they thought they would never hear again!

This Teac GF-350 is an all-in-one entertainment center with a classic look that fits in with any decor. Hidden underneath the top cover of the music player is a 3-speed turntable with auto return. Not only does it allow you to play your favorite vinyl, but thanks to it's Phono to CD abilities, you can also record them for playing in your car or other CD players. The drawer-type CD recorder supports CD-R/RW recording (as well as AUX to CD for using other peripherals) and has REC level control and a REC level indicator.
