It offers competitive features such as eight DIMM slots for up to 16GB Registered DDR400 SDRAM, two independent PCI-X buses, onboard ATI Rage XL graphics with an 8MB frame buffer, dual-drive IDE ports for four EIDE drives, a Serial ATA storage controller with RAID support and an Adaptec 7902 Ultra320 SCSI controller. It also contains two open PCI-X slots, four USB ports (two via front header) and a floppy drive connector that will support up to two drives. With strategically located components, the Thunder K8SR allows maximum airflow across the motherboard for ideal temperatures inside the chassis.
