The Epitome of Portable GPS Systems - the Nuvi 660

The Bottom Line: Price aside, the Nuvi 660 is the best portable GPS system available today.
Review: Garmin has been around since the late 1980's and are credited for creating the first portable GPS system. So it s no surprise that one of the best, portable GPS systems on the market today would come from this innovative company.

It's an excellent navigation system with very accurate and fast GPS positioning, very fast at recalculating routes, and explains directions clearly and at the right times. Its main downfalls stem from the extra features, namely the weak mp3 player, poor speaker, and useless FM transmitter. Still, I purchased it to use as a GPS system, and it does this exceptionally.
