Silent Hill 4: The Room For The PS2

This is the fourth game in the Silent Hill series and it is also the scariest one in the set. You play as Henry this time and when he awakes in his apartment room he finds his front door chained up from the inside. Locked and bolted, he can't escape the room. You can look out of windows and see the streets and cars below and even look into other people's apartment windows. But when you try to use the phone you get no signal and when you look out of the peephole in your front door you can't see nothing but bloody hand prints on the wall and an occasional person walking up and down the hallway.

When Harry hears a crash in his bathroom he goes into the bathroom and sees a hole in his bathroom wall and when he decides to crawl into it because it might help him escape his apartment he enters into a whole new world called Silent Hill. Finding a woman named Maria there he tries to help her get back home too all while fighting off dogs who are turned inside out (reminded me of Resident Evil), ghosts, zombie like creatures and a force so powerful it makes Henry's head hurt when he stays in Silent Hill for too long. You can shoot guns, use weapons you find along the way, and even grab health drinks and milk to heal you up when your health bar gets low.

Then there is the horror aspect of the game that is filled with frights and scares that will make you jump in your seat. I loved this game because it's so scary and I would recommend it to anyone who loves horror survival games.
