What fun

I've now got 16 months on this vehicle and it continues to impress. I jumped from the standard CLS to the AMG and with both have trouble remembering this is all fly by wire (reminded when the alternator quit). Even with this occurrence what an amazing ride. 469 HP really sets this beast loose but still averaging 21 mpg over mixed driving (until you really get on it and this shrinks to 18 if you push continually intown). Never thought I would move out of the S class, but I'm sold. The Nav system does not include bluetooth for any but Motorola phones and no controls for iPod but does include MP3 and additional 6 disk changer all in the cabin and convenient to use. Nav is DVD run from the trunk. I am disappointed in the Nav system after my Garmin experience and will often run my Nuvi as a replacement for the onboard system. The audio quality of the Harmon Kardon system is superb. The four seats (four buckets) are comfortable and the front two include both heat and cool. One aggravating factor is only two DC outlets in the cabin which restricts how many items add on items (Garmin, phone, iPod, fuzz buster) can be charged or utilized while driving.
