I had been looking for some replacement speakers for the crappy 2 speaker setup that I had been using since I first had a computer. Needless to say, when I received these speakers for an x-mas present, I was a very happy guy. This was one of the sets that I was looking at getting.
The box that they came in is nicely designed, and the styrofoam packaging makes sure that nothing will get damaged before unpacking. Things that are included in this speaker set are: 3 front speakers (L,R,Center), 2 rear speakers, and a subwoofer. The package also includes Logitech software to optimize and calibrate the performance of the speakers. The speakers are all color coded and extremely easy to connect to the sub. The only slightly hard thing is to get the speakers set up in your room to give you the proper sound.
Once set up and optimized, the speakers sound absolutely beautiful. The produce rich sound, and the sub produces bass so deep that the neighbors complain. The only time I have heard slightly poor performance from these speakers is when they are turned up very high, and then they start to muffle, and fart a little. The control knob that is included in the set makes changing the speakers very easy, from volume to bass lever to fading. If you put a set to headphones into the control knob, it automatically mutes the speakers, which is a good feature since you dont want to be crawling to the back of your computer to connect a set of headphones.
I have had these speakers for 7 months now, and I do not think that there are any other speakers for the same price that come even close to this set of speakers now that I have heard them.
