Clean power for the money

I had an old Tecnics amp and it went finally quit on me. So the search was on an amp that sounded good, but wasn't going to break me in my wallet. I listen to several amps and the ones that sounded good were real expensive and the lower price amps sounded like crap. Then I went to best buy and they had this one of a kind amp. It was an Aiwa and I listen to it in the store and it sound pretty decent compare to the speakers they had hooked up to it. So I bought it and hooked it up to my home speakers. I have 2 15 inch Sony three ways to the front, 1 sony center and two sony rear speakers. First I tested it when I hooked up my mixing board to it to play some records on my tecnic 1200 mk2s. I was very surprised how clean it sounded and the amp was pushing my 2 15 inch sonys. Then I decided to test it out by playing my star wars phanton menice dvd with dts. Wow I couldn't believe how it sounded. The sound were so real that you would have though that you were in the movie. It has a t-bass button that you can set at three setting. I had it set on the highest setting and I had it set on pro logic. The only draw back was using the remote. It's compact and you have to use the shift button to use some of the feature. You still have to manually adjust the T-bass button on the receiver it self.
